A video capturing this touching moment has gone viral on social media. It shows the shoemaker lying helplessly on the ground in Adaba, too weak to continue due to hunger.
The video reveals how several bystanders gathered around him, offering a plate of rice and a soft drink to revive his strength. After he had eaten, one of the bystanders handed him ₦5,000 to help him secure more food later on.
