VIDEO: Pastor Adeboye Apologizes for His Wrong Teaching on Tithe

In a recent statement, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has publicly apologized for a past comment about tithing and salvation. He had previously stated that those who do not pay tithes would not make it to heaven, but now admits that this statement was incorrect and not supported by the Bible.

In his apology, Pastor Adeboye clarified his stance, saying, “I apologize for saying, ‘If you don’t pay tithe, you won’t make it to heaven.’ I’m sorry, that’s wrong, and it’s not in the Bible.” He went on to emphasize the true Biblical message regarding salvation: “What the Bible says is ‘Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see God.’”

@_Obakoso: The moment he said you can be right and wrong at the same time, I knew I wasn’t apologetic, and that shit he said about light makes no sense at all.

@OmahNaija: In all of this, at the end of the day, they’ll all return and agree with Dr. Abel Damina. So much false doctrines have been preached by christian leaders just to collect money from members, and a lot of pastors still scam members today.

@xt0pher007: After years of collecting tithe, why he nor address am since…

Christianity Dey bring this country down, but you guys are too blind to see it

@iAmThree_siXty: It’s a good thing you are apologizing because it’s this tithe issue that pastors use to manipulate gullible people .

This clarification aims to correct any misconceptions about tithing and its relation to salvation, as Pastor Adeboye emphasizes the importance of peace and holiness in accordance with Biblical teachings.
